Export a Java build as a Hytale prefab
Upload your Java build (.schem) and convert it to a Hytale prefab, and it drops into Hytale as a prefab.
The conversion runs on our servers and maps each Java block to its Hytale block; it does not need Minecraft or Hytale on your machine.
It's free, there's no account, and we don't store your file.
Steps
- Open the converter.Go to the converter and drop your Java .schem file.
- Pick Hytale prefab.Choose the Hytale prefab target.
- Convert and place.Download the prefab and place it in Hytale.
What carries over, and what does not
Kept
- Blocks that have a Hytale equivalent
Not carried over
- Block entities such as chest contents, sign text and spawner data
- Entities such as mobs, item frames and armor stands
Hytale is a different game, not a Minecraft edition
Java to Bedrock is a port between editions of the same game, where almost every block has a counterpart. Java to Hytale crosses into a different game, so correspondence is a curated mapping: a Java block is placed in the prefab only where the mapping has a Hytale block for it.
A Java block with no mapped Hytale equivalent is left out. The blocks that do map carry their position and, where Hytale supports it, their orientation.
Common questions
- Why do some blocks not come across?
- Hytale is a different game with a different block set. A Java block is placed only where the curated mapping has a Hytale block for it; an unmapped block is left out.
- Do I need Hytale installed to convert?
- No. The conversion runs on our servers. You only need Hytale to place the prefab in-game.
