Everything carries over

We record formats, blocks and versions, never your file.

After you convert: load it with WorldEdit or an older editor

  1. Put the file in WorldEdit's schematics folder.

    On a server, plugins/WorldEdit/schematics, or plugins/FastAsyncWorldEdit/schematics for FAWE. In single player with the mod, config/worldedit/schematics.

  2. Load and paste it.

    //schem load castle

    Current WorldEdit still reads the legacy format.

  3. Or open it in an older tool.

    MCEdit and Schematica, for Minecraft 1.12 and older, open .schematic files as they are.

Common questions

How do I convert a .bp to a .schematic?
Drop the .bp on this page, pick the Java release you play on, 1.7.10, 1.8.9, 1.9.4, 1.10.2, 1.11.2 or 1.12.2, and download the .schematic for MCEdit.
Is it free, and do I need an account?
Yes. Converting is free and needs no account. Your file isn't stored.
Can I use the result on Bedrock?
For Bedrock, convert the same file to a Bedrock structure instead: Convert .bp to .mcstructure
My file is from a newer release. Will it load in an older one?
Pick the release you play on. A .schematic stores legacy block IDs, so a block that release has is written for it and a block it does not have is replaced with the closest one or listed in the report.
