SCHEMATICRAFT

Use a Create schematic in an older modpack

Upload your Create schematic (.nbt) and convert it for the Minecraft version your older modpack runs, and it loads with that modpack's Create.

The conversion runs on our servers and rewrites the schematic for the older release; it does not need Create or Minecraft on your machine.

It's free, there's no account, and we don't store your file.

Steps

  1. Open the converter.Go to the converter and drop your Create .nbt schematic.
  2. Pick Create and the modpack's version.Choose Create as the target and set the Minecraft version your older modpack runs.
  3. Convert and load.Download the rewritten .nbt and load it with the older modpack's Create.

What carries over, and what does not

Kept

  • Every block and its block state
  • Chests, signs and other block entities

How Create loads a schematic in an older modpack

Create loads a schematic only at the Minecraft version it was written for. We write the .nbt at the version you pick, so pick the one your modpack runs.

Common questions

Why will not my newer Create schematic load in my old modpack?
Create reads a file as written, and an older Create cannot read a file written for a newer build. Convert it to the version your modpack runs first.
Does anything get lost converting to the older version?
The format is the same, so blocks and their states carry over. A block that exists only in a newer version has no older equivalent.
